Composer Bio

Steven W Rodgers has written over three hundred songs and instrumentals, and four full-length musicals, primarily in rock-influenced modern Broadway sounds, with genres as diverse as jazz, pop ballads, blues-rock and neoclassical. He received an MFA from the University of Virginia, working alongside Tina Fey, Aaron Sorkin, Tom Hulce and TV writer Suzanne Fitzpatrick, later collaborating with Oregon novelist Carolyn Tracy, and British lyricist Wendy Christopher.  He has recorded with Broadway/Netflfix star Ashley Park (Emily in Paris/Mean Girls) and Mike Shiflett (Spielberg's Lincoln and Netflix's House of Cards). His plays and musicals have been seen in New York City and across the country.

Michele Fortunato

is a musician with classic roots and a versatile spirit. Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Japan, Russia, Chile, Jordan, Europe... The trombone passion, together with the desire of making music, leave me breathless, and enable me to explore and touch first hand different cultures and traditions. Being a freelance musician allows me to explore various musical genres: Ska, Reggae, Jazz, Rock, Classic, Contemporary... playing on famous stages and festivals. I've the opportunity to collaborate, both live and in the studio, with famous national and international artists.

Luca Longoni

is an italian pianist, keyboardist and teacher, graduated with full marks in Jazz Piano at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Since 2000 he has played in over 2,000 concerts in the pop, jazz and rock fields, both in Italy and abroad (Arab Emirates, Monte Carlo, France and Switzerland) and as a musical pianist, among others, at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi - Milan and Teatro Brancaccio - Rome. Since 2003 he hase been a teacher of music and piano at numerous public and private schools in northern Italy.

Christopher Brown

 

Christopher Brown is a leading bass guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and educator based in Washington DC. He has performed on 5 continents in a huge variety of musical styles ranging from Rock and Pop, Jazz, Funk, Gospel/Worship, Musical Theater, Electronic, World Music and more with over 20 years experience performing and teaching around the world.

Performance and recording highlights include Ron Holloway Band (including appearances with Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Jimmy Vivino (Conan O'Brien), Kofi Burbridge, Gabe Stillman, Texas Chainsaw Horns, The Tedeschi Trucks Horns, John Kadlecik of Furthur), Daniel Lanois, John Mayer, Brian Blade, Eddie Bayer, BJ Cole (Bjork, Sting, Dire Straits) Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), Moonshine Society, DC Improvisers Collective and countless others. Has appeared on 35+ albums as bassist and/or producer.
